The Scourge Of Political Violence In America.

Just because shootings are caused by guns, does not necessarily mean that guns should be eliminated; though I believe it requires more scrutiny as to who gets to have one. The problem is not the gun, similarly to how the problems isn't knives, because people stab people to death. Same way the solution to stabbings isnt outlawing knives, the solution to gun violence is not the abolition to guns.

The culture and the radicals are the problem. The problem is not the weapons, but the dangerous ideologies that perpetuate gun violence. The television and movies potray actors as heroes as they kill people. Whether consciousnly or unconsciously we absorb these ideas, especially when we are young and impressionable.

One of the biggest problem in the black community in reference to murder. It is not just the police, but mainly black on black crime. If you truly wonder why that is, just listen to drill music. A genre detected to killing your enemies or your opps as they would refer to themselves as such.

The third and most dangerous of individuals are political dissidents. People need to realize that the government is not here to save you, they are just doing their jobs and just like us are subject to corruption and hidden prejudice. People react to this violently, and most black and Latino people don't feel safe when they see the police, because of racial profiling. Which the supreme Court just made legal for ICE to racial profiling and detain people.

The fourth issue is obviously the media. In such of sensalisonilist headlines and their political partisanship. The conservative media paints the left as demonic and perverted, and the left paints the right as backwards and ignorance. This incentives people with mental health issues or people getting paid to assassinate political dissidents. There used to be a time when news was just news now it's filtered through partisan perspectives. As long as the media keeps pushing this division, it's unlikely this will stop.

Lastly, there are those who are so committed to their ideologies, that whomever shares the opposite ideology becomes demonized. Thus we  almost got the assassin of Donald Trump, which did wonders for his popularity, ironically. The assassination of Charlie Kirk. Those people are cowards, who resort to violence because they don't have rationality to prove their perspective to be true. We have free speech so we can debate ideas, and pick the right solutions. Political violence just creates chaos and produces no apparent solutions. It's political stupidity.
